By registering an account, making a donation, or accessing articles on The Chitrakoot Update, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.
2. User Accounts & Registration
- Users must provide accurate, complete information during registration.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- Abusive behavior, hate speech, spam, or impersonation in public comment sections will result in account suspension.
3. Monthly Supporter Membership & Payment Terms
- The Monthly Supporter Membership is a voluntary monthly contribution tier (₹1,000/month) supporting independent journalism and Sanatan welfare initiatives.
- Subscribers receive a digital Reader & Supporter ID Card and Golden Supporter badges across the site.
- Expiration Policy: If a monthly payment lapses or is missed, supporter status and Golden Accolade badges automatically expire until the contribution is renewed.
4. Cause Donations & 80G Tax Receipts
- One-time cause donations (Gau Seva, Bhandara, Flood Relief) are non-refundable once processed.
- Official tax exemption receipts under Section 80G are generated automatically upon successful transaction completion and can be downloaded from your profile dashboard.
5. Intellectual Property & Copyright
All editorial articles, web stories, photographs, video reports, and trademarks published on The Chitrakoot Update are protected by copyright laws. Reproduction without written consent is strictly prohibited.
6. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Madhya Pradesh, India. Any legal disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Satna / Chitrakoot District.
